100V Line Masterclass in the TecZone with TOA

Another week at Leisuretec means another event in the TecZone! On Tuesday 13th June, it was TOA’s turn to take over the TecZone with their course “100V Line Masterclass”, as TOA's technical specialists Andy Bradshaw and Jonathan Harris Cowley presented to a room full of industry professionals eager to learn more about 100v Line. TOA is a Japanese manufacturer that has more than 80 years’ experience in researching and developing professional audio products. Their systems can be found all over the world, in thousands of different places such as stadiums, schools, places of worship, skyscrapers and more; the list goes on!

This course is aimed at installers, surveyors and project managers alike who are looking to enhance their knowledge of 100v line in order to provide the best possible advice and support to their customers. TecZone events give our customers the opportunity to get hands on experience with professional equipment, learn from respected industry experts and ask as many questions as they need all in a relaxed environment.

On the day, the attendees learnt about a large variety of topics right from the very basics in PA through to designing a multi-zoned 100V PA system. The training session commenced with the very basics. Following this was a look at the key markets and case studies, focusing on the different sizes of PA systems available. There was also a live demonstration of the wide variety of speakers available as well as an in depth look at TOA’s free Speaker Placement Software

In the afternoon the team moved onto designing their own 100v Line systems in applications of their choice, with the professional support of Andy and Jonathan. Throughout the day TOA equipment was spread around the room, so that the attendees could get an idea of the equipment that's suitable for different applications. It also gave them the opportunity to experience firsthand the high quality and reliable build that TOA's products are renowned for.
