CHAUVET DJ Ushers in Event Lighting Game-Changers at DJ Expo

ATLANTIC CITY, USA - CHAUVET DJ once again leads the way in event lighting innovation, introducing a series of innovative and dynamic new products to revolutionise special event lighting. Wireless convenience, compact size and unique new effects lead the offerings that will be unveiled at this year’s DJ Expo at Harrah’s in Atlantic City August 13-15. DJ Expo attendees will experience a dazzling display of popular CHAUVET DJ products in the immersive special event-themed booth #619, and on the DJ Times Square main stage. Lighting debuts include three new additions to the Freedom family of battery-powered 100% wireless products including a never-before-seen centrepiece effect, a new, compact Intimidator moving head perfect for mobile entertainers and an inventive and exciting atmospheric sure to take event effects to new levels. A don’t-miss educational seminar and multiple chances to win free gear will also be a part of the CHAUVET DJ offerings at this year’s show.
Freedom Centerpiece
Leading the way in new event lighting ingenuity is Freedom Centerpiece, an elegant 100% TRUE wireless, battery-operated uplight to highlight centrepiece event elements. Elevate the elegance of table settings with 3 zones of control. The inner and middle rings are RGB +WW, and the outer ring is cool white & WW. Freedom Centerpiece is robust and strong enough to support large floral arrangements. The unit is also IP-rated, meaning table spills are of no concern to party planners, and its polarized lenses eliminate unwanted glare for event guests! Freedom Centerpiece is also the only IP-rated product in the CHAUVET DJ line with sound activation mode. Freedom Cyc
CHAUVET DJ’s ground-breaking introductions continue with Freedom Cyc, a 100% TRUE wireless, battery-operated cyclorama light that blankets surfaces with a wide, even wash never before seen in a fixture of its size. Its unique lens design perfectly mixes the RGB + WW colour spectrums. Freedom Cyc can be used on battery power or connected to electrical mains for even greater output. Freedom Cyc can also be controlled remotely and works in master/slave with other Freedom fixtures. The unit has multiple wireless control options via FlareCON, IRC-6 or DMX using a D-Fi transmitter. Quick access to the built-in colour temperature presets eliminate programming time, and high-frequency LED dimming makes Freedom Cyc flicker free and perfect for video use. Extend the battery’s lifespan with built-in discharge protection.
Freedom Q1N
The third new Freedom introduction from CHAUVET DJ is Freedom Q1N, a battery-powered RGB+WW pin spot fixture with a built-in D-fi transceiver. Like the other Freedom debuts, Freedom Q1N is part of the Freedom ecosystem, and can be controlled remotely and programmed in sync with other Freedom products. This compact and powerful fixture features a narrow beam perfect for highlighting special event elements. Its magnetic base and small size mean effortless mounting, controlling, and transporting. Freedom Q1N is available in either black or white housing making it suitable for any event. The Freedom Q1N system includes 4 fixtures, a carry bag, multi-charger, and IRC-6 remote.
Hurricane Bubble Haze
Special event creativity takes a giant leap forward with the introduction of Hurricane Bubble Haze, an atmospheric that takes party atmospherics to new levels. It’s a haze machine. It’s a bubble machine. It’s both at the same time! This multi-purpose atmospheric machine emits bubbles, haze or haze-filled bubbles and its always-ready technology lets the unit run continuously to keep the party going. Hurricane Bubble Haze features a gravity-fed bubble reservoir that recirculates unused bubble fluid reducing fluid consumption. A built-in cleaning function increases machine longevity and reduces clogs. EZLink Bluetooth Products
Two new Bluetooth® Wireless Technology products are available now and join CHAUVET DJ’s line of convenient BT products. EZLink Par Q1BT is an extremely compact battery-powered quad-colour (RGBA) wash light. Control EZLink Par Q1BT from the free BTAir smartphone app (patent pending) with no additional hardware needed! Easily illuminate your truss structures or bring the tightest spaces to light with EZLink Par Q1BT‘s magnetic base. EZLink Par Q1BT features a single RGBA LED for rich colour mixing including punchy amber. COLORband Q3BT is a full-size linear quad-colour (RGBA) wash light fitted with 3 zones of control. This linear wash light features DMX + built-in Bluetooth® wireless technology. Quad-colour LEDs allow for vibrant and warm colour mixing! Access built-in automated programs via Master/Slave, DMX, or optional IRC-6 remote. Power link multiple units to save time running extension cords.
