ID84L-TIS 8x4" Low Frequency TIS Extension Cabinet White

The ID84L shares the same aesthetic design and sonic signature as the other modules in the ID Series, while offering an elegant format and the well known NEXO size-to-power ratio.

High-density package

The ID84L is 990mm x 150mm x 163mm (39.0” x 5.9” x 6.4”) and weighs 14 kg (31-lbs). Using the latest-generation powerful Neodymium drivers used in the ID24.

Advanced NEXO technology included

The ID84L extends the applications of the ID84 main speaker. By increasing the line length the vertical directivity of the assembly naturally narrows down in frequency.

Adding ID84 & ID84L together

Two ID84 modules can be coupled upside down, increasing both the HF efficiency and the directivity in the LF by increasing the length of the source. Optionally ID84L can be added as well, increasing the column length from 2 meters (ID84 + ID84L) up to 4 meters (2x ID84 + 2x ID84L). All these combinations can be simulated through our acclaimed simulation software: NS-1.

Perfect phase alignment

The ID84L shares the same phase response as all NEXO speakers, making it extremely easy to mix with other NEXO systems, e.g for side fill or front fill, or when used with any NEXO subs, without risk of comb filtering or requiring complex electronic adjustment.

Touring, Installation and TIS versions

The ID84L is available with the same finish options as the main module ID84.

The Touring version uses a front Magnelis® grille. Its connection plate uses two NL4 connectors at the back and one connector hidden into the bottom cover for cableless connection to the dedicated IDS312 sub.

The Installation version keeps the same acoustic design but comes with a grille covered by an acoustic cloth. The connectivity is made through cable gland and captive two core cables, this version being IP54 rated.

The TIS version is actually a Touring version plus the acoustic cloth in front. All versions are available in black, white or custom RAL colour on request.
