PLASA Focus Leeds 2025 Product Round-up

Can you believe it’s been nearly three weeks since PLASA Leeds!? Like every year, the event was jam-packed with new and exciting products and technologies. Alongside our daily content from the show, our Marketing Team caught up with some of our top brands to find out what new additions they brought along:
Tascam
Tascam showcased a wide range from their portfolio – from SonicView mixers to installed media solutions – but the star of the show was the brand-new RX-BT10 Professional Bluetooth Receiver.
This compact unit is Tascam’s take on some previously popular (and now discontinued) Bluetooth receivers, but with a modern twist. It introduces clever features such as the ability to remotely mount both the antenna and Bluetooth pairing button. One particularly handy function is the ability to name each receiver, making it much easier to identify units in larger installs – especially when several are in use within the same building.
Doughty
Dan, Doughty’s Director, gave us a quick overview of one of their latest clamps: the Lightweight Quick Trigger Clamp (IP58650). This new all-weather clamp may be small, with a total width of just 25mm, but it’s mighty – offering some of the best grip strength of any clamp in Doughty’s lineup.
Electro-Voice & Dynacord
Starting with Electro-Voice, we were introduced to their new range of Line Radiator Column Speakers (LRC). Available in three sizes and both black and white finishes, these speakers are weatherproof and come with a pan-and-tilt bracket that sits flush against the wall. All LRC models are now in stock with us!
As for Dynacord, they were showcasing their latest amplifier series: the IX Series. These networked DSP power amplifiers come in five models and feature Dante and a built-in Matrix Mix Engine, making them a seriously versatile, all-in-one solution – ideal if you’re after an amplifier, matrix, and mixer rolled into one.
CHAUVET Professional & ChamSys
As always, CHAUVET brought their A-game with the latest innovations in LED technology. Two standout products on their stand were the Maverick Storm 1 Flex Hybrid Moving Head and the STRIKE V Strobe/Wash, check out our video below for all the info.
If you visited our stand this year, you might’ve noticed several CHAUVET fixtures helping bring it to life! One product that really turned heads was the new Freedom Flex Stick X4 – a pack of battery-powered LED batons, perfect for adding a dynamic touch to your next event.
ChamSys, meanwhile, displayed a range of their lighting desks, most notably the brand-new MagicQ Compact Wing. Showcased for the first time in the UK, this unit features 10 faders, 10 executor playbacks, a bright display, and seamless integration with any MagicQ Compact Console – making it the perfect tool for enhanced control.
RCF
RCF gave us a sneak preview of their upcoming X Series loudspeakers. These install-friendly speakers are built for stadiums and outdoor venues where premium sound and durability are key.
The series includes three models, all designed to brave the elements with enclosures that are corrosion-resistant, UV protected, and IP rated – so you can rest easy knowing your audio setup is safe and sound.
