PLASA Show 2022 – a highlight of the year!

PLASA Show 2022 is done and dusted and what a return it was! With Team Leisuretec out in force, a brand-new stand and plenty of friendly faces old and new, our return to London Olympia’s premium show for sound and lighting was well worth the trip. Watch our highlights from the show below:
Exhibiting in Style
Not only was this year’s stand our first to feature our new branding at PLASA London, we also demoed several brand-new products including entertainment lighting from CHAUVET Professional, XSW IEM from Sennheiser and an exclusive first look at the ART 9AX Bluetooth Speaker from RCF. Our stand featured the same large format LED screen we had at PLASA Leeds wowing attendees with our detailed Product Profile videos, supporting our brands at the show, and giving visitors to the stand the change to listen in via Sennheiser XSW IEM and HD headphones.
Our stand was crewed by Wayne, Holly, Obed and Craig from the sales team, with MD Mike Henden and the marketing team also greeting visitors and meeting our brand partners. Footfall at the show was fantastic with a reported 41% increase in visitors! This translated into a busy stand throughout the three days with lots of exciting projects and contacts on the horizon, plus the usual suspects and industry veterans stopping by to say hello.
“After the success of PLASA Leeds earlier in the year, we were incredibly excited to make our return to PLASA.” Commented Marketing Manager Charlie Henden. “As one of the biggest shows of the year, PLASA London has always been a fantastic opportunity for us to wave the Leisuretec flag and engage with our customers and partners, from across the world, on a more personal level.”
New Show. New Tech
PLASA London has always been a hub for showcasing innovation and this year was no exception. As usual our diligent marketing team were roaming the halls to hunt down the latest releases and technology on show. Andy, Sean, and James (latest recruit to the team) visited some of the industry’s finest brands to find out more from their product specialists:
Sennheiser EW-DX
On the Sennheiser stand, there was a sneak peak of the brand-new EW-DX wireless microphone series with all visitors invited to a live demo event on Tuesday 8 November 2022. Click here to register and find out more:
RCF Business Music Solutions
Upstairs in the audio demo rooms, RCF were showing off their Business Music Solutions; perfect for installation into just about any application where you need a comprehensive set of speakers to suit a range of environments, complete with a flexible mixer amp. ChamSys MagicQ Connect Consoles
Meanwhile, just round the corner from the Leisuretec stand, CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys had a range of professional lighting fixtures lighting up the show, as well as 2 brand new compact MagicQ consoles created for designers on the go. Watch our video or click here to find out more:
