Excite AV Power the New Eltham Conservative Club with Cloud

The New Eltham Conservative Club London, is a popular social club where its members go to enjoy a drink and relax amongst friends. Having recently undergone renovations, the club was in need of a new audio system which was installed by commercial and domestic audio specialists Excite AV.
The NECC required an audio solution to provide background music in both the function room and main bar area. “Members of the club come here to relax in a friendly environment so a clear and unobtrusive audio solution is vital” said Gareth, Installer Excite AV. After demonstrating a range of products to the client Excite AV designed and integrated a system consisting of Cloud mixers, Sennheiser wireless mics and Ecler speakers and amplifiers.
For a user friendly setup the Excite AV team installed the ever popular Cloud Z8 Zone Mixer in the main bar area as a master control for the new audio solution. With the ability to accept an array of input sources and currently powering just two sets of Ecler speakers, the Z8 presents the option of adapting the system at any time if required.
A number of social events are held in the club’s function room so much like the bar area a versatile easy-to-use system was necessary. This time a Cloud 46-50 mixing amp was chosen and programmed to feed 8 Ecler speakers which are controlled remotely via 4 Cloud RL1 volume control plates. As the function room see’s events such as live band nights, karaoke, weddings and other private parties Excite AV specified the Sennheiser EW145 G3 system complete with feedback rejecting transmitter, SKM 100-845 - perfect for the end user!
