Happy 10th Birthday PLASA Focus Leeds

As PLASA Focus Leeds returned to the Royal Armouries for their 10th anniversary, of course Team Leisuretec were there to celebrate on our usual stand: N-C03. Once again, we were in prime position in front of the main hall entrance, greeting industry professionals, suppliers and tons of new and existing customers. Mike, Wayne, Rob, Charlie, Ollie, Andy s, Andy F, Clover and Holly (pictured right) were in charge of flying the Leisuretec flag and as you can imagine, we were pretty hard to miss!
Following on from the international tradeshows each year, PLASA Leeds acts as a platform for a number of UK product debuts and this year was no exception; the likes of Sennheiser, ChamSys, ADJ, CHAUVET Professional, ETC, RCF and Martin all got the chance to show off their latest releases to a UK audience. The show held a great significance for ChamSys; alongside hosting their annual MagicQ master classes the UK got its first look at the highly anticipated QuickQ console range. Sennheiser showcased the brand new evolution wireless G4 series on their stand which drew in crowds over the course of the show. Inesh Patel, Sennheiser, commented “PLASA Focus Leeds is brilliant - it has been non-stop, so much so that my voice is going from talking too much! The event is valuable as we get in front of the right people, meeting key end users and important dealers.”
Although our stand design mirrored the previous year, we of course enlisted the help of Production Plus to modify our original designs and execute any finishing touches. The large circular truss, with 8 foot diameter graphic showed its face yet again, alongside the revamped product plinths which are now illuminated to highlight various brands and their latest releases. Our stand felt bright and inviting with 4 Chauvet Professional Maverick MK1 Pyxis, 4 EVE E 50Z and 4 EVE P130 RGB fixtures adding depth, while the brand new Chauvet DJ BT AIR fixtures brought an element of fun to the stand. Additionally, the Sennheiser LSP 500 PRO and QSC K12.2 took pride of place on the revamped light-boxes along with a rack of Cloud amplifiers that stood proudly in the corner.
While tradeshows offer the perfect opportunity to meet the Leisuretec team in person, we’re aware that it isn’t always easy to find the time to attend them. That’s why while we’re exhibiting we make it our mission to keep you updated throughout the show and to collect content for future online use. Andy S, our man with the camera, transforms into a walking one-man recording studio snapping and videoing all of the latest tech and Holly, our social media guru, posts live updates across our social media channels so that you don’t miss out on any of the action!
PLASA Leeds has reinforced why it’s so important for Leisuretec to be present at tradeshows in the UK and across the globe; they bring people together from all over the industry and provide countless opportunities which you wouldn’t otherwise come across. Most importantly for us, we get to meet our customers and put faces to names to further evolve our relationships with you.
