Leisuretec Host Another Solid Week of Lighting Basics Training

Leighton Buzzard, UK - Leisuretec, trade wholesalers of audio, lighting, video and special effects hosted another solid week of entertainment lighting basics training for their trade customers. The three days took place in May 2019 providing a crucial opportunity for production companies and installers to learn the basics of stage lighting and how it can be applied to their business, hosted in Leisuretec’s inhouse training facility; the TecZone.
The training was supported by some of the industry’s leading lighting brands and provided a comprehensive introduction to stage lighting, covering basic rigging & safety, appropriate product selection for different applications, the pros and cons of LED vs Tungsten, DMX & networking protocols and the basics of intelligent lighting control. A total of 23 companies attended the training across the three days and each training session earned sterling feedback on the content, equipment and hospitality.
