Lucky's Bar Revamps with Void

Founded in the late 1980s, DACS is a renowned audio technology company that started on a journey to deliver high-quality sound experiences. Lucky's is a music-enthusiastic establishment with a particular emphasis on early hip-hop. Tommy Byron, the owner of Lucky's, had previously invested in a Void sound system for his other property, the Dog and Parrot pub next door, which had more than proven itself. For Lucky's, the challenge was clear: create a visually striking sound system that could fit the hip-hop vibe while delivering pristine audio quality with controlled dispersion.
Tommy and the DACS team attended a Void demo, an experience that solidified their choice for Lucky's Bar. The Air Vantage speakers deliver an unparalleled audio experience. The clarity and detail of sound along the entire 18-meter length of Lucky's Bar is staggering. To control and optimise bass, DACS incorporated bass control treatment in the end walls, ensuring that the sound quality remained exceptional without excessive booming. Additionally, Tommy and DACS knew this was a sound system that would attract eyes as well as ears, due to its aesthetically pleasing design & fiery red finish.
What truly set this install apart was the ease of set-up & the presets in the Void Bias Q1.5 amplifier, which is carefully tuned to deliver the best possible output and protection for the speakers. The result was an audio system that exceeded expectations, offering the ideal, sought-after experience for Lucky's.
