Martin VDO creative LED video range expands with VDO Fatron 20 and VDO Dotron
Posted on: 3rd May 2017
HARMAN Professional Solutions have announced the launch of Martin VDO Fatron 20 and VDO Dotron–adding new dimensions and capabilities for lighting designers with a more comprehensive range of creative LED video products.
Both the 20 mm pixel pitch video batten VDO Fatron 20 and the compact and powerful video pixel VDO Dotron can double as DMX-controllable lighting battens and seamlessly weave together with the entire Martin VDO range including the VDO Sceptron and VDO Face 5.
An extensive palette of field-exchangeable diffusers and lenses gives the daisy-chainable fixtures a great variety of different looks. They also can be deployed frontless for a raw look. Versatile rigging accessories make mounting onto walls, set pieces, stage designs or directly on a truss a breeze. Plus, an IP65 outdoor rating makes these fixtures perfect to enhance creative outdoor and indoor designs.
VDO Fatron 20 and VDO Dotron are driven by the Martin P3 System Controller for easy video-mapping and creative mix ‘n’ match with other Martin LED video products. Automatic switching between P3 and DMX modes is provided for smaller applications. Using the same integrated power and data cabling as VDO Sceptron, installation of VDO Fatron 20 and VDO Dotron is a breeze.
“The addition of the two new fixtures to the creative VDO toolbox is the missing link that really brings creative ideas to life when you want to create truly astonishing 3D stage designs,” said Wouter Verlinden, Product Manager – LED Video, HARMAN Professional Solutions.
