Optimum AV were recommended to a client in need of support for a single podcast studio at their inaugural event held at Magazine London. Impressed by Optimum AV's capabilities, the client expanded their request to four studios. The event spanned three days and included a main plenary conference, breakout exhibition spaces, and podcast studios for attendee interviews.
During the design process of the extra three podcast rooms, it was apparent Optimum AV needed more equipment. Having an already extensive range of Audio-Technica microphones and RCF speakers, they wanted to keep to the high-quality brands they knew and trusted so deployed the AT2035 and AT2020 microphones with the ART708A speakers. The AT2035 and AT2020 microphones ensured accurate and detailed capture of speech audio while the ART708A speakers meant attendees could hear a clear reproduction of the interviews.
From this, Optimum AV also integrated K&M (Konig & Meyer) stands, Studio Master DigiLives 4C & 8C and Roland’s USB Interface, all supplied by Leisuretec and delivered next working day. Optimum AV ensured the podcast studios were equipped to deliver exceptional sound and visual quality and furnished the stand to meet this standard, providing a professional setting for interviews throughout the event.
The finished podcast studios exceeded the client's expectations, contributing to the success of the show. This successful collaboration has opened doors for Optimum AV, as the client is now considering them for supplying AV and technical production for the entire event in 2024.
