Stage Door Events' Seamless Audio Production With Sennheiser, Allen & Heath and RCF

Stage Door Events is a renowned events company based in Newcastle, specialising in providing comprehensive production services including sound, lighting, video walls, and staging for theatre shows and festivals across the country.
One of Stage Door Events' recent projects involved providing full production support for a theatre show titled "LMXT - The Little Mix Experience”. When the clients approached Stage Door Events, they made it clear they wanted their performance to look top-notch with professional audio solutions.
With this brief, Stage Door Events purchased various Sennheiser, Allen & Heath, and RCF equipment. These brands were chosen for their reliable reputation and their ability to easily streamline workflow, as detailed below;
Firstly, the performers were supplied with 6x wireless Sennheiser e965 microphones as part of an EW500 G4 system. The mixer setup included a SQ6 with Dante expansion and 2 x DT168 stage boxes. The SQ6’s flexibility and high-quality signal path made it a natural choice for feeding 6x Sennheiser G4 Wireless IEM systems meaning the performers were able to hear back what they were singing accurately.
For FOH PA, the SQ6 fed 10x RCF HDL10-A’s and 4x RCF SUB 8004-AS’s. This combination provides Stage Door Events with a fast and easy to set up system that packs a high-quality punch with a 2 way digital amp and DSP processing in each speaker and 18” subwoofers.
The team at Stage Door Events specifically found the Allen & Heath SQ6 to be the perfect fit for this show when using various audio equipment. They used 26 channels of multi-track through the Dante Virtual Sound card, along with an additional 16 channels for the band and 6 wireless microphones. In total, they used 48 inputs and 24 outputs, running stereo monitors and sending recording feeds through Dante. The seamless integration and flexibility of the Allen & Heath equipment significantly contributed to the success of the production.
