The Knight of Notting Hill Revamped with Martin Audio

Carbon Integration, a renowned home automation company based in West London and Sunningdale, were tasked with a completely new audio-visual system for a renovation project on the outskirts of Kensington, London.
The Knight of Notting Hill (formerly known as KPH) was a rundown pub and hotel that underwent new ownership and desperately needed renovating. The new owners sought to modernise the property and create a vibrant atmosphere but needed the perfect combination of high-quality sound systems and Audiovisual expertise to achieve this to accommodate regular live events and DJ performances, plus the new pub needed the ability to transition from quiet background music to a ‘nightlife’ bar experience without tainting audio quality.
This would require passive speakers that are simple to use, able to deliver pristine sound over short and medium distances, plus the speakers needed to look clean, sleek and professional. On top of this, the new owners wanted subwoofers to compliment the new speakers so the music could provide a kick in the evening.
In collaboration with Leisuretec, Carbon Integration designed and installed a cutting-edge AV solution tailored to The Knight of Notting Hill's requirements using six X8 BlacklineX speakers, two SX112 subwoofers, and three VIA2502 Class D Amplifiers.
An RTI control system was then integrated to provide seamless control of the AV setup, allowing easy access for DJs to manage audiovisual elements during performances.
Despite a tight timeline of 1-2 weeks, Carbon Integration successfully completed the installation, exceeding client expectations. The Knight of Notting Hill now boasts a state-of-the-art AV system that delivers immersive audiovisual experiences.
