Theatrixx Release Update 1.4.0 for the xPressCue!

Theatrixx Technologies has released xPressCue Software Update 1.4.0.
This update contains major new features such as the ability to assign front panel and Stream Deck buttons from a single click, re-encode problematic files, as well as important bug fixes affecting media file handling and playback.
IMPORTANT
All devices must be updated to at least 1.2.2 before proceeding to this update. Please make sure you are running software 1.2.2 before attempting to upgrade to 1.4.0.
The update can be installed in just a few steps:
- Connect your Media Player to an internet-connected network (i.e. local office LAN, etc)
- In the web GUI or from the front panel, navigate to Settings -> Software Update
- Click on "Get Latest From Web". If you receive an error message, the player probably can't "see" the internet. Check your player's network configuration.
- Click on "Begin Update"
- The update will take approximately 15 minutes. Once it is complete, all you must do is reboot your device, and it will then be running the latest software.
Some New Features Include:
- Device Core: Ability to re-encode problematic video files; this fixes most playback, seeking and looping issues
- Device Core: New setting to stay on current Queue Item when stopping playback (instead of starting back at the top)
- Web Client: When appending or replacing a Playlist in the Live Queue, each playlist's item count is displayed and empty playlists are disabled
- Web Client: If a source video can't be previewed in-browser, a fallback preview file can now be generated on demand
- Hardware: On the StreamDeck, "Set Next" action keys now include the name of the file in addition to the thumbnail
- Hardware: New "Apply Template" functionality for hardware remotes allows auto-assigning several keys on a control surface at the touch of a button (assign Set Next buttons from Folder or Playlist contents)
- OLED Display: New Hardware Remotes menu page allows basic control of front panel and Stream Decks, as well as applying templates
- OLED Display: In Media Management, Media Files can now be cropped directly from the onboard menu
- Web Server: Complete OpenAPI documentation with full descriptions for each endpoint and data type
- USB Storage: Improved the new device analysis speed dramatically (items are now evaluated lazily in a non-blocking way instead of all at once)
- USB Storage: A warning will now be displayed if a failure occurs while downloading a snapshot to an external USB drive
