Vision Trade Hire is an AV rental company, specialising in projection, TVs, IT Equipment and Processing & Control. Based in Glasgow, they supply all events companies within the central belt and further afield, stretching all over the UK so it’s important to always have the best products on hand.
They came across Theatrixx and xVision Converters 10 months ago and haven't looked back since for using signal converters and processors. Their primary use for xVision is to enhance and upmarket their hire stock and to supply other events companies and clients with a premium product that they have faith in and know will complement their upcoming events.
After having discussions with Kris from Theatrixx UK and Leisuretec’s technical specialists, they knew that xVision was the ideal product to go for and that it’d suit their exact needs. They were constantly facing challenges with other brands of converters and DA's, whether that being power failures or physical failures to the units, they could no longer trust the kit to go out to a client without there being a risk of failure at any point.
xVision was able to eliminate all of these problems though. With the clear robustness of the converters and the removal of dipswitches, Vision Trade Hire was immediately on board. The other features that really stuck out with them were the use of True1 power in and out, instead of flimsy power supply connections. They also jumped at the variety of choices for rigging and installing, through magnets, clamps or straps, as this has added additional flexibility to a host of different events. How the converters and processors really work with reclocking and amplifying your signal is a perfect feature & really comes in useful in the day to day running of an event.
All of the above made it extremely obvious for them to move forward with xVision. Additionally, for technical support at installs; UK Sales Manager Kris was always at the end of the phone ready to help. It’s now without a doubt they’ll be expanding their catalogue of Theatrixx, and many other exciting products, to supply more clients with outstanding products for all events and requirements, big and small.
