We Get Hands-on with Laserworld

Unsurprisingly, we were super excited to get hands-on with the TARM, EL, DS & CS Series from Laserworld navigating all the essentials of laser safety, programming, DMX control and the odd laser maze…
Once the TecZone was prepped and filled with enough haze to resemble a foggy Yorkshire dale, the training began with a demo of mid-air effects followed by graphics projection, logo animation and even lightning bolts ⚡. For the finale, 10x DS1000 systems were combined over DMX to create an awesome synchronised light show, after which we had the opportunity to program chases and cues from a Zero 88 FLX S 24 console.
As a relatively niche solution, lasers are often less popular than their LED and discharge counterparts due to a lack of understanding around safety regulations and compatibility with DMX controllers.
