Our approach to tackle COVID-19 remains the same as it did in our last public update on the 28 April:

We are still running a skeleton based team with sales and marketing working from home. Thanks to our flexible IT systems our sales team are answering our 01525 850085 line from their home workstations meaning we can still maintain an efficient response to your enquiries.

Stock / Inventory

As your Trade Distributor we specialise in extensive stock holding which you can rely on throughout unpredictable times like this. Please bear in mind however, that a lot of manufacturing has been paused so we anticipate that our inventory may start to deplete across key product lines. Please keep us informed about your upcoming projects and deadlines.

Despatch / Shipping

We are still running a reliable delivery service despite the current situation, with all goods from stock despatched same day for next working day delivery. For hygiene reasons, our couriers may not ask for your signature on delivery.

It’s now been 36 days since the government announced the restrictive lockdown measures across the UK and there’s no doubt that the live events and entertainment industry has been directly affected, with everyone having to adapt both in their personal and professional lives.

Our message today is that we’ve got you covered. Through the power of remote working we are still here to answer your general and technical enquiries. Through strong stock holding we still have the inventory to fulfil your requirements, and thanks to our couriers, we can still deliver your goods with our speedy service.

Even if you or your teams are not currently at work, we’ve got you covered too. We have temporarily converted the TecZone events page on our trade website into an online training portal where you can find helpful learning resources from some of the industry’s leading manufacturers across sound and lighting, giving you the tools to use this time wisely, expand your knowledge and come out of this difficult time with an advantage.

Our industry’s battle against the coronavirus continues as does our effort to support your business throughout this uncertain time. The health and well-being of our team, their families and our community is our top priority and we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of the actions we’ve taken to continue our service to you whilst keeping everyone as safe as possible.

We are still running a skeleton based team with sales and marketing all working from home and just one member of our accounts team in the office. Since our last update on 30 March, we have now established further IT developments so our sales team can now answer your incoming calls directly from their home-based work stations, meaning we can now resume our normal speedy response to all of your enquiries.

Stock / Inventory

As your Trade Distributor we specialise in holding strong stock levels across our portfolio meaning you can still rely on us in uncertain times like these for both your last minute and ongoing requirements. However, as a lot of manufacturing has been paused due to the pandemic,  we anticipate that stock availability on key product lines may start to deplete so please keep our sales team informed about your ongoing projects and deadlines.

Despatch / Shipping

Both our despatch team and couriers are still running a reliable delivery service with all goods from stock despatched same day for next working day delivery. The only change is that, for hygiene reasons, our couriers may not ask for your signature upon delivery.

We logistics team still remains scaled down to ensure we can practice social distancing guidelines whilst reserving enough resource to efficiently despatch your goods. All of our logistics team are strictly following the WHO guidelines and taking extra care with their personal hygiene whilst still fulfilling our service to you.

The health and well-being of our team, their families, our customers and our community is our top priority. Our aim is to do everything we can to keep everyone safe whilst still supporting your business. Please read this page to understand how we intend to continue our service throughout this uncertain time.

Due to the rapid escalation of COVID-19 we are now running a skeleton based team with sales and marketing all working from home and just one member of accounts based in the office.

We are still answering your incoming sales calls to 01525 850085 but please bear in mind that our response may be slightly interrupted during peak times (usually 11:00 – 15:00). Alternatively, you can still reach us at sales@leisuretec.co.uk where we can organise a call back to discuss your requirements. All email enquiries will still be handled with our standard speedy response.

We are currently investing even further in our phone systems to enhance our team’s home working stations and make this area of our service even smoother during this uncertain time. We will keep you updated on this initiative.

We are still running a reliable delivery service in these circumstances. Our service runs as normal; all goods from stock are despatched same day for next day delivery.

We have scaled down our logistics department to ensure the strict social distancing guidelines whilst reserving enough resource to efficiently despatch your goods. All of our logistics team are strictly following the WHO guidelines and taking extra care with their personal hygiene whilst still fulfilling our service to you.

We’re proactively working with our couriers to stay updated on their situation. The only change at the moment is, for hygiene reasons, couriers may not ask for your signature upon delivery.

We will keep you informed if we are required to change our current approach to shipping your goods.

We hope you’re safe and well. The health and wellbeing of our team, their families and our customers is our top priority. We’d like to share with you the preventative measures and procedures we’ve put in place to minimise the risk of infection within our team, whilst ensuring we can still support your business throughout this uncertain period that COVID-19 presents.

Our primary objective is to keep our team safe whilst maintaining enough resource to efficiently respond to your enquiries.

Preventing Transmission

  • Below is a list of the key preventive actions we’ve taken:
  • No external visitors allowed to Leisuretec
  • No customer visits allowed
    • General hygiene
    • Strictly following WHO guidelines (with special emphasis on regularly and properly washing hands)
    • Installed numerous hand sanitising stations around our offices
    • Disinfecting desks, personal equipment and office surfaces at least twice a day
    • Disinfecting regular office touchpoints (door handles etc) at least twice a day
  • Remote Working
    • Adopted a policy to set up remote stations for those who can still efficiently perform their job function from home with the objective to minimise the amount of people in the office
    • Encouraging team members to work remotely if they:
      1. Present a potential risk to the team
      2. Have underlying health problems that make them extra susceptible to contracting illnesses
  • Ensuring team members in the office stay a suitable distance from each other

Contact

To lower the risk of transmission we aim to halve our office-based sales team by setting up remote work stations at home. Although our office based front-line team will temporarily be a smaller resource, they have full support of their remote colleagues so we can still efficiently and effectively manage your enquiries and support your business. Please bear this in mind when calling during busy phone traffic periods (usually between 11:00 – 16:00). 

Global circumstances are progressing unpredictably so we will endeavour to keep you updated on our situation moving forward.

Shipping / Couriers

Order despatch and our couriers are still running smoothly as normal and we’re actively working with our couriers to stay updated on the situation. The only change at the moment is, for hygiene reasons, couriers may not ask for your signature when delivering your goods.

We will you informed if the unlikely scenario occurs where we must change our approach to despatching your goods.

Events

We have cancelled all internal and external events for the foreseeable future. This decision will be reviewed as the global situation starts to calm down.
