IDS108 8" Compact Installation Subwoofer 300W – Black

The IDS108 is the ideal companion for the ID14 compact point source, sharing same aesthetic design and flyable together from the same point.

The IDS108 is only 305mm x 307mm x 305mm (12.0” x 12.1” x 12.0”) and weighs only 8 kg (17,6 lbs). The recommended ratio is 1 x IDS108 for 1 x ID14. Using a high efficiency bass-reflex design, the NEXO IDS108 features a long excursion 8-inch Neodymium driver precisely tuned to match the frequency response of the ID14. The result is a particularly articulate low end with a very high output level for its size.

The IDS108 features two M10 threaded inserts to be used primarily with the dedicated U-bracket (IDT-HBRK108), with or without the ID14 linked to the IDS108 through a discrete bracket (IDI-14TO108). Once turned a quarter turn on its side, the IDS108 can then reuse one of the M10 threaded inserts to fit a slim pole stand with integrated speaker wire that will nicely fit an ID14 speaker directly without additional bracket.

The IDS108 shares the same phase response as other NEXO speakers, making it extremely easy to mix with other NEXO systems, e.g with the larger MSUB18 or with other NEXO subs, without risk of comb filtering or requiring complex electronic adjustment
