The PZ-Pre™ is a studio quality preamp with two footswitch-able inputs. Each input is equipped with a separate level control and PZB piezo buffer with a 10 meg-Ohm input impedance to optimize the signal path. A Blend-Mix function allows both inputs to be blended together using the level controls like a mixer. For tone shaping, the PZ-Pre features powerful low and high EQ controls plus a semi-parametric mid-range. To help eliminate feedback and low frequency resonance, a variable notch filter and lo-cut filter are on-board. A phase reverse switch can be engaged to tame hot-spots on-stage and help eliminate feedback. On board is a power-booster and effects-loop plus a separate tuner output with a mute footswitch for ‘on-the-fly’ silent tuning. To maximize flexibility, a comprehensive output array includes a standard ¼” instrument output to connect to the stage amp, a PRE-EQ XLR output to route the dry ‘pre-effect’ signal to the PA system, and a second POST-EQ XLR out to send the wet signal to the monitors
