W2-2W8 8" Wide Dispersion Horn Loudspeaker - Black
The symmetrical design of the W2-2W8 features 2 8” woofers flanking a 120 x 60 horn for seamless, consistent wide dispersion coverage to 400Hz. It is optimal for sound reinforcement, down-fill, underbalcony stage edge fill, monitoring, and other applications.
The unique molded “Super-V” configuration of the LF drivers provides exceptional uniform mid-range coverage that would be impossible to create with a conventional flat wood baffle plate. The Super-V configuration prevents the collapse of the horizontal coverage pattern throughout its range, especially the critical voice-range, when oriented in its usual horizontal position.
The structurally strong loudspeaker enclosure and faceplate and three-layer Weather-Stop™ grille of the W2-2W8, provide weather-resistance and durability. All exposed hardware is stainless steel or powder-coated aluminum. A stainless steel powder-coated mounting yoke is included.
