The PZ-Deluxe™ is a spectacular quality preamplifier and DI box disguised as a foot pedal. Features include: input level control, powerful semi-parametric EQ for voicing plus a low-cut filter to eliminate resonance. Separate ¼” outputs feed a stage amp and tuner plus a built-in Radial DI feeds the PA. Unique to the PZ-Deluxe is the PZB booster that at once increases the input impedance to 10 meg-Ohms and boosts the signal. This enables piezo transducers to connect directly without having to cut a hole into the guitar to add a preamp. A variable power booster with footswitch for soloing and a mute footswitch shuts off all outputs except the tuner for silent on-stage adjustments. The balanced Radial DI output is equipped with a ground lift switch to help eliminate hum & buzz caused by ground loops and a 180º polarity reverse to eliminate hot spots on stage which often cause feedback. A 15 volt – 400 milliamp power supply provides added headroom to reduce distortion and maximize dynamics.
